ROUNDS Trust & Reliability
Plans change. Cancelling in good time is respectful — it is never treated as a strike. What we do track is leaving people waiting.
Responsible cancellation
You cancel inside the cancellation window for that Round. Your seat is released immediately for someone else. No reliability impact, and it does not reduce your attendance rate.
Late cancellation
You cancel after the cutoff. Your seat is still released right away, but it is recorded on your private reliability record because the host had little time to refill it.
No-show
You never cancelled and never checked in. This is the most disruptive outcome and carries the strongest reliability impact.
Cancellation windows
- Starting within the hour15 minutes before start
- Planned 1–3 hours ahead30 minutes before start
- Planned 3–12 hours ahead1 hour before start
- Planned a day or more ahead2 hours before start
The window is based on how far ahead the Round was when you took your seat, and is always shown before you confirm a cancellation.
Account standing
- Good standing — normal use of ROUNDS.
- Warning — repeated late cancellations or no-shows; you'll be reminded of the policy.
- Restricted — reduced hosting and joining ability while your reliability recovers.
- Suspended / Terminated — reserved for serious or repeated safety and conduct issues.
Enforcement is driven by behavioural events — no-shows, late cancellations and reports. Star ratings are subjective feedback and never on their own change your standing.
Your profile shows positive signals only: attendance rate, Rounds hosted and Rounds completed. Cancellation history is private to you and the ROUNDS safety team.
